Daniel has experience in delivering multi-million pound Innovation programmes that shift manual processes to digital ones. He has been the business lead on delivery teams for mobile applications with tens of thousands of users.

A former Management Consultant, Daniel has worked at the forefront of practical DLT and blockchain projects utilising big data analytics to provide better consumer outcomes.

Alistair has grown shipshape.vc’s Product and Technology stack such that it is fully automated and up-to-date with latest AI capability, with lean staffing globally-sourced..

Prior to shipshape.vc has was on the management team of two successful exits.
EMEA Director of an FX Fintech company, growing the EMEA region ARR by 91% year on year in 2017, and achieved double-digit growth in 2018. EMEA was 70% of company revenue at the successful exit in 2019.
Global Head of Account Management at another FX Fintech company that successfully exited in 2015.

Alistair cut his teeth in technical Program and Project Management across: Financial Services, Corporate Core consulting, KPMG, and a variety of Australian banks, managing teams of 50 staff and budgets of AUD $15M.

Carrie is a Senior Data Engineer with experience in large-scale data ingestion, backend service design, and full-stack development. Since joining Ship Shape she has architected and implemented significant parts of the company’s data acquisition pipeline, including automated sourcing, cleaning, and normalisation workflows. She also developed a major internal application using Angular and a NestJS backend, integrating data services with internal operations and tooling.

Before Ship Shape, she worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at AMPLYFI, building multilingual NLP pipelines over English and Chinese text collections. She deployed cloud-native microservices and serverless workloads on AWS that processed millions of documents and extracted entity-level insights.

Earlier in her career she developed data-driven web applications, including sentiment-analysis tools used to assess fieldwork reports in humanitarian aid contexts.

Kateryna has a PhD in mathematical methods and models, have wide knowledge of machine learning algorithms and analysis techniques: clusterization (fuzzy, k-means, hierarchical clustering), Linear/ Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Discriminant Analysis, Factor analysis, Principal Components, familiar with Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic, time series forecasting methods etc.

After her academic career she gained over 5 years of commercial experience as a Python software developer with a focus on backend. She has experience in design and creating applications from scratch, using microservices and monolithic architecture, with strengths in OOP, REST, design patterns, relational databases.

Ekaterina Shushkanova is a Frontend Tech Lead and Full Stack Developer with 7+ years of experience building scalable B2C web and mobile applications, specializing in Angular and Ionic alongside .NET Core and NestJS. She brings a strong system design mindset, backed by an M.Sc. in Computer Science, and focuses on delivering maintainable, high-quality products with long-term impact.

Larry has been working with shipshape.vc since 2024 and has played a pivotal role across testing, frontend and backend development, data-pipeline architecture, and LLM implementation. His work has strengthened both our in-house LLM systems and our integrations with commercial models, consistently bridging the gap between complex AI engineering and practical, reliable deployment. The ability to use such technologies in a stable manner is greatly down to Larry.

Kasia is a former Associate Lecturer at the University of Cambridge and former Investment Analyst at Phoenix Asset Management. On returning to the workforce following maternity leave she leverages this experience to create SEO-winning content for the Company.

Jodi is a UI/UX designer with over fifteen years of experience helping brands make an impact through thoughtful design, modern identities, and intuitive digital experiences. He works with forward-thinking clients to bring together design, code, and interaction in ways that connect with people and drive results. Fast, detail-oriented, and always evolving, Jodi stays at the forefront of design trends and technology to deliver meaningful, on-brand work. He started working with shipshape.vc in 2025 and is progressively improving our search engine and general visual identity.

Ruslan has over 9 years experience as a DevOps Engineer, and ensures Ship Shape’s AWS-centric environments and infrastructure operate smoothly and efficiently. He excels in making best use of OTS tools that allow Ship Shape to rely on well-proven technology, whilst also having development skills for bespoke projects.

Oli Harris is a Partner in Dream Ventures (https://bit.ly/4h8drKn) and Founder of Venturebeam. Oli provides both general advice to the Company and specifically advice in generating user traffic.

Bill Kenney is the owner and Founder of MEET, a US market penetration advisory company. Bill has provided both advice on how to sell into the US and specific introductions that have led to New Mexico deal with more in the pipeline.
